Judging does not bring clarity; it replaces it.
The stronger the urge to attach a label, the less likely we are to truly see and be aware of a given phenomenon.
As if the faster we hurry to understand and close the question, the sooner clarity slips through our fingers.

One of the benefits of meditation is the ability to notice our thoughts without condemnation and without admiration. Thoughts are like leaves floating down a river.
Just as they are: not good, not bad, just thoughts. This state of attention lets us see the inner process more clearly: not dissolving into it, but recognizing it.

When we notice a thought, we have a choice.
We can ask ourselves: how applicable is it to my life? Does it support me or get in my way?
Some thoughts and strategies may have been useful in the past, but now they lower the quality of life, hold us back, keep us from moving toward what we want.
